Un-Tuna salad
1 can chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
1/2 medium green pepper (sliced)
1 large clove garlic
1/2 cup onions (chopped)
1 tbsp water
1 large celery stick (chopped)
Pepper
1 tsp spicy mustard
1 tbsp mayo (I used Olive oil Mayo)
Optional: 1 tbsp caraway seeds or celery seeds
1. Place all ingredients in blended (except seeds) and pulse for a minute or two until chickpeas are crushed and all ingredients are smooth.
*you may need to use a spoon/knife and work the ingredients to the bottom if using a blender. However, do this while you aren't pulsing.
2. Spoon Un-tuna into bowl/container and stir in seeds.
Tuna salad
2 cans tuna (packed in water)
1/2 cup onions (chopped)
1 clove garlic (chopped)
1/2 cup pepper (chopped)
2 tbsp mayo (I used Olive Oil Mayo)
pepper
2 tsp spicy mustard
1. Mix all ingredients together. Add pepper to taste.
Tuna and Un-Tuna salad sandwiches
Swiss cheese
Hardboiled Egg
Tuna salad of your choice
Your favorite mini baguette of choice (or fresh small bread loaf) - I suggest pumpernickel or rye bread
